It has been too long since I last wrote a post. Life can be hectic, and I was unable to find time to post. It's a new year and I'm back! A new year means many new beginnings....and yes, new blog posts! One of my goals for this new year, to stay more updated with my postings and take more pictures than ever. I'm taking my goal at becoming a photographer more seriously and truly trying to reach my dream.
Since it has been so long since I last posted, I don't really remember where I was going with those posts. I think it was somewhere along the lines of "love". But if I can't really remember, I'm sure y'all can't either, or maybe you have a better memory than I do. Well, I'm feeling like Dory from Finding Nemo and my memory is failing me. So, with the whole new year thing, how about we just start fresh with everything? Hope y'all don't mind.
Before I really start talking about photography and sharing pictures with y'all again, I want to give you a little warning. These upcoming posts are going to be a little more in depth than before. I have more to say these days :) If you don't like to read a lot, then you can just skip down to the photos and ignore my ramblings.
This new year has already made me realize what a true gift and blessing life is. We take it for granted, at least, I know I do. So often I get caught up with everyday life and forget to sit back and look at the many blessings from God. One of the many blessings that I have always been thankful for, but have become even more thankful for, is family. Wait, I think that's where I was going with my last postings! Yes, I believe so. Well, looks like the Lord done blessed me again and brought my memory back.
Back to talking about family though. So often we complain about them (and sometimes we have the right to, ha!), but how often do we sit back and simply thank God for blessing us with a family? People who will love us no matter what? Loved ones that we can always count on? Not nearly enough I am sure. This picture that I am about to share with you is a picture that I recently took of my niece and nephew. To me, it shows a little bit of what family is about. They're so young, and yet they're sitting there simply loving on one another and enjoying being together. I think we can often learn life lessons from children...
